James has been diagnosed with chronic ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, which are severe enough that he has developed an autoimmune deficiency in his colon and will have to undergo medical therapy infusions for the foreseeable future. Without these infusions, James’s symptoms could get worse and risk his life. Moving forward, they will be in and out of the doctor’s office for these infusions and it is going to be very expensive.
 
James and his business partners recently opened a Turning Point Beer in Bedford, TX and his wife Kate works part time as a librarian while taking care of Wyatt (their almost 3 year old) during the day. With the new baby on the way and the medical expenses that will bring on as well, the Peery's need all the support they can get during this time.
